In addition to building harpsichords and clavichords since the late 1970s, Owen Daly studied harpsichord with John Hamilton, and attended masterclasses and workshops with Laurette Goldberg, Arthur Haas, Jacques Ogg and Edward Parmentier, as well as studying early Italian opera continuo under Stephen Stubbs and Jillon Stoppels Dupree.
